Harmony in Diversity Project Brings Young People Together for Environmental Protection

The Erasmus+ KA152 Youth Exchange project “Harmony in Diversity” (Project No: 2025-3-HU01-KA152-YOU-000376909), coordinated by Megújulásért Környezetvédelmi Egyesület, will take place in Budapest, Hungary, from 24 to 31 March 2026. Bringing together young participants from Hungary, Turkey, Romania, Lithuania, and the Czech Republic, the project aims to raise awareness about endangered species, biodiversity conservation, and environmental sustainability while empowering young people to become active contributors to environmental protection. 🌿✨

As biodiversity continues to decline due to habitat destruction, climate change, and human activities, protecting endangered species has become a global priority. Harmony in Diversity seeks to help young people better understand these challenges and the crucial role that wildlife plays in maintaining ecological balance. Through the project, participants will explore the importance of preserving natural habitats, learn about the threats facing endangered animals, and discover how individual and collective actions can contribute to a more sustainable future.

The project is designed not only to increase environmental awareness but also to strengthen participants’ personal and social competences. Through experiential learning activities, workshops, seminars, creative exercises, and intercultural exchanges, young people will develop practical skills such as teamwork, critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and communication. By working together with peers from different countries and cultural backgrounds, participants will gain a broader understanding of global environmental issues and learn how international cooperation can contribute to effective solutions.

A key objective of the project is to encourage active citizenship and civic engagement among young people. Participants will be inspired to take part in voluntary initiatives, environmental campaigns, and community-based actions that support wildlife conservation and environmental sustainability. The project also promotes respect for all living beings, emphasizing the importance of empathy, responsibility, and ethical decision-making in protecting nature.

Through a combination of environmental education, intercultural dialogue, and hands-on learning experiences, Harmony in Diversity aims to empower young people with the knowledge, skills, and motivation needed to become advocates for biodiversity conservation and sustainable development.
