The focus of the Pannónia Alumni Club’s April event was stress management, inner stability, and conscious living.

During periods of studying or living abroad and times of major life transitions, our “inner compass” becomes especially valuable in helping us maintain mental balance. With this in mind, on April 23, the Pannónia Alumni Club organized an event at the Mercure Budapest Castle Hill Hotel, focusing on strengthening stress management, self-awareness, and mental flexibility.

The event brought together alumni to address mental health challenges through expert guidance and practical tools that can be applied in everyday life. The aim of the meeting was not only to deepen insights but also to provide participants with real, “take-home” methods they could use in their daily routines.

The opening speech was delivered by Dóra Várszegi, Deputy Head of Strategy and Development at the Tempus Public Foundation. In her remarks, she emphasized that the Pannónia Scholarship Programme does not end upon returning home, and that the purpose of the alumni community is to provide long-term support and strengthen community ties. She also highlighted that the themes of Alumni Club events are carefully adapted to the current needs of participants: while previous events focused on career development, communication, and CV writing, this time the focus was on stress management, which has become an increasingly significant challenge for many young people in today’s fast-changing world.
