As part of the “Harmony in Diversity” project, coordinated by Megújulásért Környezetvédelmi Egyesület under the Erasmus+ KA152 Youth Exchange programme (Project No: 2025-3-HU01-KA152-YOU-000376909), environmental education continues to be enriched through intercultural learning activities that bring together young people from different countries and backgrounds.🌍

On the fifth day of the project, participants took part in the Cultural Harmony Celebration, where the team from the Czech Republic showcased their country’s rich cultural heritage. Through traditional costumes, folk dances, and cultural presentations, participants had the opportunity to discover and appreciate different traditions, customs, and values in an engaging and interactive environment.🤝

The activity supported not only the project’s goals related to environmental sustainability but also its broader objectives of promoting intercultural understanding, mutual respect, and global citizenship. By learning about different cultures and engaging in meaningful exchanges, participants gained valuable insights that helped challenge stereotypes, reduce prejudice, and strengthen international cooperation.🌿

Recognizing that environmental challenges are global issues requiring collective action, the event highlighted the importance of bringing together young people from diverse countries to share perspectives and work toward common solutions. The Cultural Harmony Celebration demonstrated that cultural diversity can serve as a powerful foundation for collaboration, solidarity, and positive change.✨

By combining intercultural dialogue with the project’s environmental mission, Harmony in Diversity continues to empower young people to become open-minded, responsible, and active citizens who are ready to contribute to a more inclusive and sustainable future.
